Happenings
This has been quite a twelve-hour period starting with the lunar eclipse last evening. We were able to enjoy that spectacle for a limited time as the sky clouded over about an hour into it. Should have guessed that the clouds were bringing three more inches of snow. Oh well, winter’s got to end sometime.
A little finch had a collision with our dining room window this afternoon. He was just lying on the ground on his back, so Katie went out and picked him up, and moved him under a bush. He has flown away now, so he’s alright. Here he is:

Yes, one would hope. Thank God for Baja. : )
Hi Sonnie! Pat and I watched the eclipse and got to see all of it as the night sky was crystil clear. Right now we are having our first real snow fall of the year. At 8:30 am we have about 3 inchs and it still coming down. No work for the rest of this we except shoveling.
Hi Sonnie, I forgot to watch the eclipse.
But speaking of snow, we are being bombarded with the white stuff.
It has been snowing since early this morning, looks like it might be 10 -12 inches before it is all over.
The past few days it had been rain, our basement was flooded and the Housatonic flooded downtown as well as other low lying roads in the area.
We don’t expect a drought any time soon…LOL
Love Les
That finch is so cute and tiny! It seems like Katie has spent much of the past month rescuing errant birds.
